On Mega Man's role in Act I.
I always really felt for him. Doctor Light made him, a perfected Protoman, albeit not made for combat, told him his brothers story and expected him not to exact revenge.
Mega Man is always presented as young and innocent, and in act I is thrust into the battle to save mankind, a battle he was neither “mature” enough to handle, and separately, a battle he was never designed to fight.
